Dear Elsa:

Thank you for your post, as some of us do not access the forum on a daily basis.
and did not know Apollo/Robyn personally .

I am so sorry to hear of her passing.

I have enjoyed her helpful links, and many posts, loved hearing about Shadow.

Prayers and Hugs to her family and friends in Texas,
And her wonderful friends in the castle.

Without posting an actual URL (which is against the forum rules), I think players who are interested in finding that obituary/place to list condolences can do the following....

1. In your browser URL area .... type: magnolia funerals (with no space between the two words)

2. Immediately after the s of funerals, put a forward slash ---it goes this way: /

3. Immediately after the / ..... put obits .......then hit the enter on your keyboard.....

This will bring up the funeral home's page with the names of people and the date of their death....

4. Under Current Obituaries section...... find Patricia "Robyn" Provee-Waits (date of death is August 29)

Depending on what you want to do -- leave a tribute or send condolences .... click on that appropriate link.

^^^^I see no reason that posting the above instructions is contrary to any forum rule.

To the Mods..... I will be shutting down my pc tonight and will be gone for about a week. So, if you send me a pm asking me to remove this post or modify it --- I will not respond (not because I wouldn't want to -- but I will be unable to).

Robyn has been with the game and this forum from the beginning. Her work has made it easier for tens of thousands of players in this game. She has been a resource and friend to so many here. [Removed by Moderator] All I ask is a day to be able to save the messages from her true friends and those who are hurting at this time.

I am not a fan of Trina or her room, but for me personally,in my game I am going to name those two little puppies in there Shadow &. Apollo.

Robyn has helped me so much with her lists that when I visit Trina's room I shall say "Hello & Thank you" to them both.

Apollo has contributed so much to this game and forum, she was a valued member, much loved and cherished by many players. She was a Great Lady and she will be truly missed.

We all want to honor her spirit & love for the game and this forum in some way. I can't stop thinking that Apollo / Robyn should be with Trina in the game forever. Maybe the Devs could create Apollo's character or maybe for just one day every year (Apollo's Day-August 29) they could change the HOS's drop rate and allow players to receive only inventory items and not coins & shards (she sure fought so much for this) a special way of honoring her and remember her passing.
She will remain in our hearts forever but maybe this will bring us comfort.

Mods, can you please pass along the suggestions to the Devs, or a relative, a close friend of Robyn's can please contact directly the Devs.

AuntieRoo,
I think this is an idea Robyn would love, especially as she was planning to get another puppy. Maybe smiling at those cute puppies will make it easier to think about her for all of us.

I love the idea of immortalizing Apollo as a character, & especially, removing coins & shards from HOS drops to honor her memory. It's something she fought for passionately & I think it would be a fitting tribute to her.

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to thank players for providing messages to apollogold. In regards to the suggestion that napoeon made above, this is indeed something that would be amazing to see in the game. I've passed along the entire posted suggestion as well as the feedback responding to it to the specific Midnight Castle team at Big Fish. If any information of this tribute is brought to our attention, we will absolutely post in the forums to inform all the players.

Thank you everyone for providing this information.

I also want to thank you Bellerophon. Our feelings are still so raw and acknowledgement of Robyn's passing and our struggle to deal with it means alot.

I also support memorializing apollogold somewhere within the game. Apollo was among the first pioneers to collect and collate all information Midnight Castle. Keeping precise details on ZZs, HOSs and Crafted Items, Apollo was most definitely MC's Keeper of Lists. Her efforts helped just about every single MC player from the past and present. Others have taken up the torch now, and that will help all future players.

Robyn most definitely would find it a hoot to be a permanent part of the game she loved so much.

I agree with whitebutterfly54 and I believe Robyn would get a kick out of Auntie Roo naming the wolf cubs in her honour. Like many others, I am still getting teary every time I look at her games on my list. I never met her in person but, she, with other MC friends, was on my list to meet if I ever made it to the States. Sadly that will never happen now

I didn't have apollo,/Robyn as friend... but I mourn the loss of a repspected player,.... I lost a beloved german shepherd named shadow many years ago and I cannot think of of a better name for a castle pet.
