Laura Jones and the Gates of Good and Evil

New HO at Big Fish Games. not bad. does have mini games which become available for replay on the main menu after completing. good graphics, none of the objects were too little, etc. clicked through most of the dialogue; did read a little bit to get general feel for story.

Bwaahaaa... I just got here to tell everyone about this new game. Man, it seems it's either feast or famine with these HO games coming out. I will try it tonight. Too much cleaning to do right now. :-(

Played the demo, its kind of like Natalie Brooks, I liked it. Everytime I see people sliding in and out of the picture I think of the "ville" series and I can not stand those, but this was different, waiting......

It seems to be a cross between Natalie Brooks and Azada. The mini games remind me of Azada. I find the animation irritating, especially the mouth movements. They all look like they are eating oatmeal. I wonder how long the game is. I was so disappointed with Natalie Brooks being so short. If anyone plays it all the way through please let us know how long the game lasts.

I am almost at the end of this game, but I can not find the last head. Where is it. I have nothing else in inventory.

this game ran VERY slow and somewhat choppy on my computer. Too slow to really play without getting ticked off. Do the people talk for you guys or do they just gum the words?

This game seems like a rip off of Azada, Natalie Brooks & something else I can't think of off hand.

I hope they can fix it, or I will never get this one.

** Just noticed that this game is only 50MB which is on the low side for this type of game so it may be a short game.

Scotcat, I had no "choppy" issues with this game. You have mentioned this with a couple of other games. Have you tried to defragment your hard drive? If the program you are downloading is writing to multiple segments spaced far apart on your hard drive, this might cause a choppy performance. Good Luck..

I downloaded the Laura Jones game, but I can't get my cursor to work. I can't find an option for a custom cursor. Any suggestions?

Yes, I defraged my computer and the game still runs very slow. Right now I have this problem with this game and Cate West. I have about 50 games on my computer and only a few come up with this problem. Oh, well.

WooHoo... it's here. I probably won't be able to play it on my PC with Vista, but it works on my Laptop with XP.

Just got it ! I have played the demo and I really liked it. Happy that we did not have to wait a long time on this game, I have Vista and there were no problems.

I also have Vista and had no problems with this game.

I have been playing the game for appox two hrs and I think it is great, at the point where I am trying to balance the jewels, giving up for a while.

If you don't want to play a mini game, like balancing the jewels, you can choose SKIP and you will be asked if you want a different challenge. If you say yes, you are taken to a hidden object screen to find items for your challenge. When you finish the hidden object segment you move up to the next level. You can do this with any of the Mini-Games at the end of each level but not with puzzle or logic games within each level.

Please help me with the last part of this game. I keep going into the 3 caves, and I don't know what I am suppose to do? What do I do with the part of the little guy and the spring and arm? And those green discs....where do they all go, and the heads? Hope someone here can help asap. Thank you!
