Hope so. The earlier articles about it sounded good.

Not bad so far, but I am getting eye strain. The HO's are hard. Need to rest.

Wow! Pretty cool. It has HO's to find, puzzles to work out to escape rooms (reminds me of Azada) & a story line (which I kept hitting skip to save time). No mini games that I could find.

*Correction - There are a few mini games. The game flows so smooth and fast that I thought the mini games were part of the regular process of playing through a room. DOH! That's what I get for playing the demo too late at night.

I thought I had completed about 1/2 the museum (rooms) and then realized I had not finished the first rooms I started with. I thought the red explanation marks over the rooms meant I was done with that room, but noooo. The room turns yellow on the map when completed.

I like this game. My biggest complaint is picture quality which made it hard to spot the hidden objects and other small pieces of stuff. I am guessing this may be my Vista problem again. If there is someone out there on Windows XP, how is the picture quality?

Hint: When searching for HO's, if you have your pointer over one and it's the right item, your pointer will pulse.

Just bought it. I think the pix quality is fair; however, everything is so freaking small! I wish I had a 19" laptop screen instead of 15". Their scenes are at least 3 times smaller that the MCF ones. I know this is a big museum but most of us HO nuts are older. My eyes can't take this for long.

Well, I have a 22" flat screen and it's still hard to find some of those small objects!

I am going to buy this game now. Like Gina, I have club credits burning a hole in my pockets too! LOL

Hey Edna! The deed has been done. :-)) I bought the game.

Ok, not only are a lot of the objects very small, but some are hidden so well that I will bow before you if you can find them without a clue. I think it's the "Artifacts Room" (don't quote me on this) that is the worse room so far. If you are asked to find a scooter.... good luck!

They give you a percentage point score for accuracy. One room I got 100% and another 43% because I had to use so many hints. Some rooms are easier to find things then others. I still think if they made the picture quality better it would help some.

All in all, it's still kinda fun and interesting.

You all are too fast for me, I just purchased it also. I think so for it is a good game. Simu and HO, just my style love it. I have 17in, having a great time with this, I am down a game credit, like to always keep two in the bank. Back to purchase more.

Trying to use has less hints as possible.

I have Vista with 20 inch flat screen. Picture quality if good. What's the deal with the pedestal with the gun? It's weight is 245, the other pedestal is bare but has 3 200 lb weights beside it. What am I missing? tx.

You need to put one of the weights on the pedestal and then click on the weight which will make it stop at whatever weight it hit when you clicked on it. Then add another weight and click on it while it's still on the pedestal to try and make it stop at the additional weight needed to be at or close to 245 pounds.

This mini game reminds me of the pumping hearts + hitting the hammer to make the bell go off in the Madame Fate game.

I hope I explained this right. Just try clicking on the weights again AFTER you put them on the scale (or pedestal) and see what happens.

hahaha I told hubby to try the game out. When he got to the stairway that was blocked, he went through all the stuff to be able to climb around the debris to get to the top of the stairway. Then he gives me this weird look and says, "Why can't I just climb over all this junk to get to the top instead of going through all this other stuff to climb around it?"

I told him he was being way too rational & to just have fun figuring out how to play each task........ like being McGyver. Oh, and even Mister Smarty Pants had problems finding some of the tiny (or well hidden) objects. He broke down and used a hint for the scroll & then said he still couldn't find it!

One thing I like is that there is no timer on this game. Thank gawd!!!

This game is great, my granddaughter has been helping me find things, (young eyes) and she even helped me figure out one of the puzzles. I am playing slow because I do not want it to end.

This game is cool, but I'm already having an issue. I'm at the West WIng, Gallery 2 (I think), have to put the sword together and presumably knock out the right wall. Only problem is, the sword doesn't work. Anyone else at this point and what did you do?

Lisa, if it's the room I am thinking of, I got a bit stuck on this one myself.

Take the sword and keep whacking away at the big broken pillar on the left side of the screen. After about 4-5 whacks, it will fall down and break through the wall. You need to whack at it where it is already broken.

Have fun!

Oh well, had to whip out the old magnifying glass for this one, on TOP of the reading glasses! Their main audience for these games is the "old broad" set, so why would they torture us so? Sigh... Still a good game though, I'm stuck at the weights myself. Will take the hint and try again, I still have 23 minutes left on the trial. Nonetheless, I think after that runs out I'll only have ONE game credit burning that hole in my pocket! Although I may need to get my eyeglass prescription changed.

Ok, now I'm stuck! I am in level 13. The room with the cavemen.

I found my wood pieces, bow/arrow (stick) & my arrowhead.
I put the wood under the caveman in ice & then tried to put in my bow/stick to start a fire to melt him, but it won't accept the bow/stick.

I thought the arrowhead might be used to cut the other caveman's hair, but it won't accept it.

I can't find anywhere else to go or pick up. What now?

Thanks!

You do need to cut some hair from the standing caveman. I tried in close up, but you need to be pulled back. Then use the spear head on him.

You ladies are ahead of me. I do not know if its the time difference or that you are both great HO gamers, but I am just on the 13 level. Thanks for the tips.

Got through the weight room with the gun, but I came across another solution quite by mistake. After clicking right above the empty pedestal, I just held down the left mouse button and it dropped the amount of weight (rather quickly, I might add) before I even put it on the pedestal. I broke down and bought it, although I had to use eye drops this morning. Thank heavens for that pulsing pointer!
