Just got back into playing this again. The last time I played it I didn't know about the forums, so I had to figure it all out myself. Gina, you said awhile back that "Most of the mini-games I thoroughly enjoy, with the exception of the robot and the puzzle-by-numbers.

I like the robot. I find it easy. The puzzle by numbers is easy, but just too tedious, although I do get through it. You said you like the Towers of Hanoi. Except for the first time it comes up, I use an orb on that one, and also the peg one (the one like Hi-Q) . I find it so interesting to see how our minds all work differently. My favorites are the "scenes" where you have to find the hidden objects and put the clues together. Now I'm really itching for the next one!

Nanty, here's the secret to the Towers of Hanoi. When you have an odd number of rings starting out on the left, you need to move the first ring to the far right tower. When you have an even number of rings, move the first ring to the middle. I hope that helps some!

Thanks, Gina. I'll go and try that. That will be a big help. Do you have any hints for the Hi-Q type game?

Nanty, I'm not sure which one you're talking about. Is it the one where you're supposed to make squares against the computer? Or maybe the "pawns"?

WOOHOO!! I'm still on my crackazada high!! I am rollinnnnn........... I just love this game, maybe ALMOST as much as madame fate. But not quite,... But alas, I am finally stuck. I am in uh-oh.... i forget... the tomb? yeah... I am supposed to put rocks on this scale, but I can NOT figure out which rocks. Looks like I'm limited to 3..... but I'm scared I'm gonna have to do the entire level again!!!!

HELP???

btw.... it is very interesting that what one finds impossible another finds easy and vice versa. I find the robot to be one of the easiest, but i can NOT do the matches!! I have used orbs everytime but the first one. Someone previously commented on this, just wanted to confirm that it is so obviously true!!

Again... any help with those darned scales???

Minkdoe, glad to see you're ok ... hope you didn't have any storm damage. You'll see we had a thread for you ... please let folks know you're ok. Regarding Azada, there is a walkthrough on the gamezebo site you might want to check out if you don't get your question answered here. good luck.

Glad to see you back on your Azada high, MinkDoe! Anyway, to answer your question, place the gold statue on the scale and watch where the white line falls under the scale, so when you put the rocks on, that's where you want it to be. The white line has to fall just under the scale for it to be correct. And yes, you're limited to 3. I can't tell you exactly which ones, just use some trial and error. And don't worry, you can try it as many times as you want, you won't get kicked out of the level. Once you get the scale level, take the stones and put them on the open pillar. TA DA!

It's the "pawns". The making squares one is really easy. Any hints for the pawns?

Those pawns are tough, for me it's just been a lot of trial and error. Just make sure you get your pawns out of all the corners first, leaving as much of the middle as you possibly can. Just remember that you can also jump diagonally, I didn't catch onto that until MUCH later (blonde moment). I don't usually have too much trouble getting down to just 4 or 3, but when I can only have 2 left, I'm in constant "undo" mode! Wish I could be of more help, perhaps there's a walkthrough on it somewhere. , and let me know how you made out.

DIAGONAL? I had no idea! I'm sure that will help immensely. I was always getting down to four okay, but not beyond that. Now I'll have to go practice. Thanks - that was a BIG tip!

Hello everyone. I too love to play azada. I plan on purchasing the download for the second one, in a couple of days. And I too also like to play mortimer beckett. Are there any other games on BF, that are VERY similar to how mortimer beckett is played, and also has identical types of mini games like on mortimer beckett? I also like Escape The Museum.

OMG!!! DIAGONAL?!? Ok, this makes a HUGE difference and no, didn't know you could. In the original real life wooden board with the pegs game you could only move horizontal and verticle! Will have to go give it another go because I've been replaying this since Azada 2 came out and had gotten bogged down on the next to the last stack (book?) of puzzles which has one of these AND a towers of Hanoi (which I freakin' HATE ) Not as bad as the robot, mind you, but close.

nannared, first, welcome to the Fish Pond. This is a copy of the post I put into a different thread. Hope it helps. Good Luck
..
MAP COORDINATES
...
In the library click on the books the letters you got from the TV. Two sets of numbers will appear. The number on the left is longitude and the second numer is lattitude. Click on the table. The map will appear. Use your coordinates from the books and look for it on the map.
...Make sure that the number that appears on the left is either positive or negative. If it's negative it's WEST. If it's positive, it's EAST.
...Greenwich England is equal to position 0, 0
...
...The first number given is longitude. The second number is latitude. It determines distance from the equator -- N for North of the equator, and S for south. So in order to find (-92, 22S) for example, move your mouse to (0, 0) which would be along the equator below England on the map, then move west (for the negative first number) until you hit -92, then down (for South) until you hit (-92, 22S.)

Hope this helps.

It may help you to know that you are playing vs a computer player. You connect two dots, they connect two dots... If three sides of a small square are complete, then connect the last to capture the square. Then you get another turn free. The red squares are those captured by the computer, yours are blue or purple.

Try not to put down the third side until there are no more options. At that point in the game try to put a line down where it will lead to the fewest squares being captured.

I try to set some of these up in the beginning, like on the bottom edge you could have left and top of the first square filled in and the top and right of the second square. So once a third side is added to one, the other player puts in the fourth which will give a third side to the other square and they get to fill it in for free, leading to yet another free move, but there will not be any more options to finish squares and put in the third side of a square for a larger area.
