Dr. Goodwell, Medicine Man - Crystal Ball Puzzle

Alright, ignore my last two posts, I closed the game and restarted it, and was able to get it moving. But I'm stuck on the amber ball, where exactly do I place the arrows to get the ball to the amber bottle? I've been able to place them to get the ball to the transporter square just two spaces in front of the amber bottle, but I can't do anything from there.

Make sure, once you find the correct transporter hole that brings the ball up in front of the amber bottle that you make the ball head INTO the transporter hole moving from left to right, because when it comes up out of the hole in front of the bottle, it will be traveling in the same direction it was when it went into the other hole. If it is traveling left to right, it will come up out of the hole and roll right into the bottle.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! I'm stuck with amber bottle - can't get this marble to go in. Arrgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well hey, I appreciate your tip on bringing the arrows down onto the board but where do you bring them and how many times do you bring each arrow. Does each square count as an arrow direction that you would bring down also? I have tried bringing down the arrows and plunked them all OVER the place and still I have not one iota of luck. Nothing ever changes, the ball just comes out and hits the first clear square and explodes. A little fuller explanation would be really helpful. I have gotten so frustrated that I have totally stopped playing the game - one can only redo the entire person only so many times before you just have to give up. Would appreciate a more detailed explanation please. I will never skip a section so I am just left with not playing the game. Sigh. Oh help. Thanks much. Arlykat

WOW! Okay, as usual I didn't play close attention to how I did it, but one thing I definitely got is that the amber bottle solution is all in the transporter (or Rx) squares! They are paired up and I can't remember the order. I just sent the pill to each to find out where it came out. I do know that you want the amber pill to reach the bottom left transporter. It then pops out from the transporter two squares from the bottle. Drag a right pointing arrow right next two it and the pill shoots in.

My problem is that once the ball goes into a transporter square, it never comes out anywhere else. Is that happening to anyone else?

If the ball went into the transporter traveling from right to left on the screen, it is coming out. Unfortunately, it is then traveling into a destroyer square or in an endless loop. Try using my previous posts to figure it out or use the link I posted above to the walkthrough.

If you determine that it really is disappearing, ask BFGames for help.

I had trouble with this one until I figured out one necessary truth--the direction you send a ball into an Rx is the direction the ball will continue to roll when it comes out of another Rx. Get what I mean? You need to know this to get the orange(or yellow, I forgot exactly. you know the one I mean) bottle.

how in the world do you get the blue ball in the blue jar ive tried almost everything! i even looked up cheats and it totally skips the blue ball.HELP!!!!!

For the purposes of counting all squares/tiles/transporters are 1 space. Directions are given as you face the screen, your right and your left.

1. From the blue ball count down 4 squares. Place a left directional tile on that square.

2. Count left 5 squares (to the already in-place down arrow square on the far left edge).

3. Count down 3 spaces from that square. Place a right directional tile there.

4. Count 3 spaces to right and place a down directional tile.

5. Count down 2 spaces and place a right directional tile on the bottom edge of the board.

6. Count 5 spaces to the right and place a down directional tile on that space.

That should do it!

I have been able to get all the colors in except for the yellow ball. There doesn't seem to be a solution unless I just can't see it, but after umpteen tries I just have to get out of there due to my frustration. Even the strategy guide didn't help me on the yellow one. Can someone map it for me? Thanks so much.

Smythers, the ball must be moving to the right when it enters the RX so it will continue to move right when it exits the RX in front of the gold bottle. I used the RX in the 2nd column, 3 from the bottom. Drag a right-pointing arrow down (==> ) and place it directly to the left of the RX. You can get to it a couple of different ways using a combination of the drag down arrows and the arrows already showing on the board.

To somebody who needs help with this puzzle: DA is Down arrow, UA is Up arrow, LA is Left arrow and RA is Right arrow. In the next numbers first is the column and second number is row.
Yellow ball : 5/3: DA; 5/4:LA; 1/6:DA; 1/7:RA
Red ball : 9/3 :DA ;
Blue ball : 1/7:RA; 6/4:LA; 4/7:DA; 6/7:LA; 2/8:UA; 4/9 : RA; 9/9: DA
Green ball : 1/2 : DA; 1/3:LA; 1/4:UA; 1/5:UA; 2/5: LA.
Sorry if I make a mistake, I think not. Good luck.

Red ball is : 9/3 : DA , 3/6 : DA . sorry

Try this for the yellow ball:
6th column 3rd row- right arrow
7th column 3rd row - down arrow
1st column 6th row- down arrow
1st column 7th row- right arrow.

I belive that is what did it for me..

I'm having some trouble getting the blue ball in the blue bottle at the bottom. Can someone please help.

Read my post from 11/15/07 on page 3 of this topic.

I have read and tried all of the suggestions for this puzzle and I still can't get the yellow bottle filled. I figured out the other bottles but this yellow one has me stumped. All the arrows on the board are going the wrong direction and there is no possible way that I can see to solve it. Any other suggestions? I have ran out of time and had to replay the level several times. Please help. BTW this forum is very helpful.
