Pick a topic!

The outhouse IS a real location! If you go through the game again, with the same user ID, any mystery items you have already found will STAY "found," thus unlocking the other items earlier. Once all are unlocked, they stay unlocked for that user, even when starting a new game. I think it's random when it comes up, I don't know, but it DID come up for me and I was there!

I'll try that. So far I have only made new users.

Thanks,

I love this game - I like the other Mystery Case games, but this one is spectacular. The graphics are amazing and the detail sthe artists and creators of the game put in there are great.
I was never a great fan of this kind of game, but this last one has made a convert out of me.
BFG really came through with this one - Thanks, you guys!
And thanks to all of you who have made contributions here and provided some of the hints (I did, however, purchase the Strategy guide... although I'm not trying to use it...)

Once again BFG you have come through with flying colors! This is the best MCF yet. I have played through 4 times and am on my fifth game. I loving that each time I play there are new or different items to look for that I hadn't seen previously. And "Yes Virgina" there is an outhouse; it's a riot (I love the flies) and worth the wait. I like the interaction with this game; great, great idea! And I loved the ending!!
My 80 year old Dad is waiting patiently right now so he can continue his game AND who, by the way, is not needing a strategy guide. He is also a big MCF fan.
I have played a lot of hidden object games, MCF are always the best.
Thanks to all at BFG and keep up the good work.

I do like that you have to solve the puzzles to find out about the suspects. One thing that I struggled with were the puzzles. My partner and are college graduates and logical individuals, so we got the gist of the solutions but after 4 or 5 tries decided to get the strategy guide. I must say this is the first time I've ever had to get a strategy guide for a BGF game.

Of all the characters, I love Art the Carny. His death is so real and does prove that smoking is bad for you!

Managed to finish the game and really love it. Can you tell me where I find the scores? Usually by time or points or something, but haven't been able to find anything on this game. Can't wait for the next one

I'd like to report a bug to bfg, but I can't find an appropriate contact.

If you can write an explanation up here, I'll take a look and forward it on to the appropriate people if it isn't already logged. Go ahead and start a new topic for it.

What do you need help with? There is also a walkthrough that you can Google for.

Go to the Tips and Tricks and check under the right topics. There are a number of helpful posts. These are some of the topics:
Art the Carny - Crystal Ball Puzzle
Rocket Dog - Word Puzzles
Lucy the Bearded Beauty - Crystal Ball Puzzle
Six Words to Win - Word Puzzle

Good luck!

Is no one having trouble with the last puzzle? I can't seem to make the picture before the curtain closes - is there some trick to it? I start in the middle, but if I go too fast...it's so frustrating!

Is that the one w/the pictures that change as you mouse over them? That one is hard and sometimes frustrating. Best advice I can give is to try not to get upset if you fail. Keep trying, stay calm. Starting at the middle is good, but the main thing is to keep your mouse steady. I've had my mouse slip and mess me up just when all of the pieces were aligned.

Good luck!

I have ALL MCF games! I got hooked from the Huntsville crimes. Each "investigation" gets better and better, don't you think? There are many reasons I like Madame Fate the BEST. a)the extra time for quickly finding items; b)the little puzzles with in the search; c)most of the puzzles after each level are tough enough to figure without a lot of thinking; d)enjoy the word games to enter some sites; and e)the 3 sites that give you time while finding the objects.

Madame Fate is one strange individual, heh heh. The most annoying search for me is "Tatooed Man". I spend a lot of time looking for skulls, D's, moons, etc. The graphics are great also. The threatening skies and storming effects fit the game very well.

I'm really looking forward to the next investigation. In fact it had been quite a while since I played Ravenhearst, so when I completed Madame Fate I went back to see if I could figure out a good story plot that the writers might come up with. I actually read the story closer to see if Rose, the nurse, might have helped in Emma's death. Please hurry with the next game. Just like one of the other players, I wouldn't mind testing what you put out.

Danie, I believe one of them is greyhound, but I can't remember the others, I'll have to go back and play that level again. But in the meantime, I found it very helpful that when I got stuck trying to unscramble these words, I went to an anagram solver website. There are many out there, just do a google search for anagram solvers. Hope that helps, and good luck!
