Fish, you're correct, Marie has over 23,000 posts, she should get a medal! Keith, that's possible it sounds like the line folks that work in retail use with customers, especially around the holidays.

Hello again everyone, glitters post about New Orleans level 100 the other day gave me an idea, kind of along the lines of our "Resources needed to build Monuments" idea. I have put together a list in numerical order of the help requests in Barcelona, I'm going to post it on the city help thread like a contents page. Example: level 9 - [ 1] LNK. The number in brackets is the relevant page number followed by a notation that this level has a link posted by the moderators for help with this level. What do you think guys?

This new version is making my teeth itch! It's a beautiful day in my part of CA. Think I'll go play outside for a while and enjoy the respite from our normally foggy summer weather. ?

Keith, I don't think the 'cut and paste platitudes' (good description) are specific to America at all, I think thats probably a global thing these days where everything is so politically correct. In Australia, political correctness is absolutely over the top and rules the day. And its in big business in general, they do not want to offend anyone, they always have to say the 'right' things and placate people. And this game and the company, BF, ARE BIG BUSINESS. Don't anyone ever think otherwise, its a huge business, gaming apps. And you are right, its just totally annoying and as its all said over and over in various words, it all becomes meaningless. I say, skip the platitudes and just get on with the message. Its kind of like they are thinking we are stupid or something having to say all those meaningless things, like they think they are making us happy that they seem to care. I know it won't change though, as they have to do it, just the same as those annoying junk phone calls where they have to read a spiel out first. Thank goodness I can just hang up on them though, and can also therefore, skip through the platitudes on the mods comments. Its usually the entire first paragraph.

Jules, the comment was meant somewhat tongue-in-cheek, and you're right about it being a global thing. One major department in our local town introduced 'greeters' who were stood just inside the main doors and repeated "Good morning Sir/Madam. Welcome to the store. Is there anything I can help you with?" literally every time somebody came in the entrance. The only result I saw was a marked decrease in people entering, and the place eventually went bust. I'm not saying it was caused by this but it certainly didn't help.
Brits generally just want to be allowed to get on with things and have somebody available when then need them.

Hi Keith. Yes, I knew it was tongue in cheek, but this sort of thing drives me insane. And if I had been a customer at that place where they hassled you before you even got in the door, I would have stopped shopping there too. Aussies are much the same, if we want help, we will ask for it at a shop etc, there are a few places here that do that, but not quite that intensive. Sometimes it can actually be a real chore though to find someone to help when you need it in a hurry. Its Murphy's law I guess.

Sounds like they got the idea from Walmart, they've had "greeters" for years, usually seniors who don't like retirement.

Walmart does that because it has the side effect of reducing shoplifting. Some psychological thing.

I have no idea how that would stop shoplifting, maybe they should all do what Costco do, check everything in your trolley against the receipt on the way out, if you have nothing to hide, no dramas. It works and the fact it works, saves us all money not having to pay extra for goods overall to cover theft. Wish all shops would do it like that. That might stop the thieves in their tracks.

The article I read about it was that those entering the store and being greeted in a friendly fashion by an employee were less likely to shoplift. Feeling guilty perhaps? I did not read a scientific article on this so it could all be hogwash. And even peer reviewed articles aren't always reproducible of course.

Hi Fish. I will have a go at sorting the improvements list later, just not got time this morning, but am happy to sort it when I have a few hours to spare later. Unless anyone else does it in the meantime that is.

I have added Lima to the resources for monuments list, has anyone done all 3 levels so I can add those details?

I just realised that in Lima the more difficult levels involved the dreaded big gummies to be exploded and now in Vladivostok it is heaps of line crushes to be made. I think back in Boston it was bombs, has anyone else noticed this?

Just wanted to drop in and say I've also recently twice had my last move as a winning move but GD callled it a loss. I'm in New Delhi.

Also at least twice, I've created a lightning bolt only to see the gummies drop but no lightning bolt created. I've been playing almost since the game came out, so it wasn't a lack of understanding about board shapes or how gummies fall. Anyone else see this?

Hi everyone! This is a fun thread you have going here.

Re: Vladivostok
I just noticed that when shipping resources you have the option to ship to either your current city OR Vladivostok.

I guess I usually hit the"send" button so quickly that I don't pay that much attention. Did anyone else notice this, or am I the only "stupid" one?
