Congratulations glitter, and welcome to Barcelona. I have been trying to post this reply all evening with no success, like New Orleans I have some information that may be of assistance. This is my fifth and final try posting this.

Hi GamingGrampa,

Just logged into the game to empty resources and ship before calling it a night. I previously saw your post for the first nine monuments resource requirements for Barcelona which will definitely come in handy. Just thought too that I was going to record my rewards for finishing all intern levels and for building all monuments (have not completed all architect or master builder or 100% of the city) but I was so happy to be leaving New Orleans I completely forgot until it was too late so I can't add it to the rewards thread. Oh well. Anyway I need to take a break for a few days again as I have some other obligations to tend to so not sure how much playing time I will have. I will try to empty resources and ship and at least do daily events. Maybe a good thing though as it gives me a chance to get ahead a bit on shipping to build before I actually reach the end of the first ten levels as I have just completed three so far.

Good morning one and all. I have been reading the Forums for some time, and am somewhat amused by the Monitors' statements that they will make sure the players' concerns and comments will be passed on to the appropriate teams.

Some of you have been at this longer than I have. Does anyone recall ANY change or update reversal that might have been a result player input? After watching the Forums about a year, I get the feeling that our feedback just ends up out in the ozone someplace. Really frustrated ?

kialuaauntie, there was an instance quite recently where there were a number of complaints about the very high resource requirements for a level. I believe that was acted on.

More than once they have made an event city a bit easier, at least on a few levels or fewer resources needed for a monument.

kailuaauntie, I have wondered that too, I have been playing this game since it was first launched, but only been following the forum for a much shorter time as I didn't know it existed for a long time. I have not noticed any real input from the developers, I am so sick of every mod always starting the spiel with how sorry they are to hear and they will pass it on etc, it's all just the same old same old and nothing really ever gets changed, apart from small issues with particular levels that are grossly unfair etc as mentioned by a few above. But as for real change, real improvement and making this game better, they take no notice and never seem to be interested in what we say or suggest to make it better. The game is getting more and more stuffed up as time goes on and they seem to think that these so called 'improvements' they make are good, when all we do is tell them they are rubbish, most especially this last one. I cannot recall ANYTHING getting such a reaction as this last zoom in issue when you open each city, it is causing immense headaches. I am waiting to see if they do in fact reverse this stuff up and put it back to how it was, but am not holding my breath. But if they do fix it, I will be very impressed. Only then will I think that maybe they are listening to the reaction from the players.

Morning fishfinder246, to reply to your comment about resources for monuments in Seoul, as far as I know there's only a few of us that have been keeping notes and I'm still in Barcelona updating as I go, we just started this idea recently so it's still a work in progress.

I have to agree with you on that. The 'cut and paste' platitudes are extremely irritating and unneccessary. Maybe it's an American thing?

Fish, you're correct, Marie has over 23,000 posts, she should get a medal! Keith, that's possible it sounds like the line folks that work in retail use with customers, especially around the holidays.

Hello again everyone, glitters post about New Orleans level 100 the other day gave me an idea, kind of along the lines of our "Resources needed to build Monuments" idea. I have put together a list in numerical order of the help requests in Barcelona, I'm going to post it on the city help thread like a contents page. Example: level 9 - [ 1] LNK. The number in brackets is the relevant page number followed by a notation that this level has a link posted by the moderators for help with this level. What do you think guys?

This new version is making my teeth itch! It's a beautiful day in my part of CA. Think I'll go play outside for a while and enjoy the respite from our normally foggy summer weather. ?

Keith, I don't think the 'cut and paste platitudes' (good description) are specific to America at all, I think thats probably a global thing these days where everything is so politically correct. In Australia, political correctness is absolutely over the top and rules the day. And its in big business in general, they do not want to offend anyone, they always have to say the 'right' things and placate people. And this game and the company, BF, ARE BIG BUSINESS. Don't anyone ever think otherwise, its a huge business, gaming apps. And you are right, its just totally annoying and as its all said over and over in various words, it all becomes meaningless. I say, skip the platitudes and just get on with the message. Its kind of like they are thinking we are stupid or something having to say all those meaningless things, like they think they are making us happy that they seem to care. I know it won't change though, as they have to do it, just the same as those annoying junk phone calls where they have to read a spiel out first. Thank goodness I can just hang up on them though, and can also therefore, skip through the platitudes on the mods comments. Its usually the entire first paragraph.

Jules, the comment was meant somewhat tongue-in-cheek, and you're right about it being a global thing. One major department in our local town introduced 'greeters' who were stood just inside the main doors and repeated "Good morning Sir/Madam. Welcome to the store. Is there anything I can help you with?" literally every time somebody came in the entrance. The only result I saw was a marked decrease in people entering, and the place eventually went bust. I'm not saying it was caused by this but it certainly didn't help.
Brits generally just want to be allowed to get on with things and have somebody available when then need them.

Hi Keith. Yes, I knew it was tongue in cheek, but this sort of thing drives me insane. And if I had been a customer at that place where they hassled you before you even got in the door, I would have stopped shopping there too. Aussies are much the same, if we want help, we will ask for it at a shop etc, there are a few places here that do that, but not quite that intensive. Sometimes it can actually be a real chore though to find someone to help when you need it in a hurry. Its Murphy's law I guess.

Sounds like they got the idea from Walmart, they've had "greeters" for years, usually seniors who don't like retirement.
